Construction
Management

We manage construction projects with a strong emphasis on coordination and communication.  We envision the construction process as a partnership between the owner, general contractor, the subcontractors, and the design team.   We take an assertive approach in  holding the entire project team accountable for responding promptly to all matters that are time sensitive, and/or have potential cost implications. Our team excels at defining and communicating a clearly established construction plan, and most importantly, implementing a system that stresses progress evaluation, accountability, and addressing ongoing project needs.

This effort involves the following:

  • Identifying project goals (i.e. establish quality goals, establish a budget and establish benchmark completion goals)

  • Establish a specific and well defined strategic plan on how to achieve the project goals

  • Clearly communicate the goals and plan to all stakeholders

  • Continually measure progress toward achieving the goals

  • Keep the team informed of progress and adjustments required to meet the project goals and expectations

We utilize a Partner-in-Charge management approach.  This effort requires that an owner of the company remain actively involved in the day-to-day activities of their projects.  Positioning a company executive to monitor the project’s daily progress promotes greater accountability for the project’s success.  Their personal attention to the project affirms that goals are met while reducing errors and omissions, and providing more expedient decision making, thereby lowering construction costs and maintaining schedules.

We promote projects that are staffed with only highly-trained, experienced, and knowledgeable field superintendents. The field superintendent is committed to being onsite any time work is occurring.  Work does not occur on our projects without a qualified field superintendent present to monitor construction activities, promote a safe working environment, and advance the quality control efforts for all construction activity.  There are no exceptions to this policy.
